Got this as a gift for my son - he was very happy with it, said he was able to make 2 full decks out of the cards contained in this set. If you are looking for a gift for the Magic card player just starting out, or one who is established, this is a good pick! This came in good condition and was helpful to my collection. It arrived on time and still all wrapped up so I am happy. This set is the first in the block, which takes the players back to Mirrodin - land of artifacts, equipment, and dangerous poisonous creatures. The mechanics allow for excellent aggro, colorless decks, and color-specific fear (intimidate green, anyone?).The next set for this block comes out in January 2011, and though this set is slow, I'm hoping it ramps up in the next two.i got no foils one good card and really thats it i didnt really like it but i ordered a SOM booster pack and got a planeswalkerBox came undamaged and just as expected. I'm a returning player from Urza's block and I'm trying to get some of the older stuff I missed out on.Janky pulls from the boosters except for Wurmcoil EngineI'm going to compare it to the tenth edition fat pack. In the tenth edition, there is two boxes and in this fat pack there is only one. There are no dividers. i bought the 36 pack and I have to have another box to put them in. this fat pack should be a little cheaper. I'm going to keep the fat pack anyway. It's easy to please a Magic player. But, I didn't get a preference in whether this was his favorite magic release.
